"Courageous" Book Study for Men

Sundays, beginning February 19 at 6:30 a.m.

Men are welcome to come to a 12-week book study centered around the movie "Courageous." You'll see movie clips, gather around Bible verses, and gain biblical insight into how to be a better husband, person, and parent. No registration required. Men of all ages welcome.

1:30 p.m. Sunday Worship Service

Zion Lutheran Church, 18 Quarry Road, Leola, announces a new worship opportunity. For a variety of reasons many people are not morning people; recognizing that reality Zion is launching a 1:30 p.m. service on Sunday, March 4.

This service will feature both organ and piano music, two Bible readings, a message, prayer and the opportunity for communion for those who wish to receive it. This service will be held in the main worship space on the first Sunday of each month. There will not be a nursery because Zion encourages adults and children to worship God together. Everyone is welcome in God’s house!

People who work second shift will be able to attend and leave from worship which will end around 2:30 p.m. The main purpose for this newly created service is to provide a worship experience for people who need a service outside the usual Sunday morning worship times.
